The UN in Pacific Snapshot

The UN in the Pacific publication provides a snapshot of the United Nations development system’s presence and engagement across Pacific countries and territories. It brings together key data on Resident Coordinators, Resident Coordinator Offices, and UN Country Teams, country-level expenditures, pooled funding, Cooperation Frameworks and joint programmes, alongside a detailed overview of how UN entities are represented and operate across the region. The publication highlights the diversity of engagement modalities in the Pacific—from physical and project-based presence to non-resident and regional support—and provides a picture of the UN system’s footprint across a geographically dispersed and complex regional context.
